If you’re lucky, you can just right-click each partition on the Mac drive and select Delete Volume to remove the partitions. You can then right-click in the empty space and select New Simple Volume to create a partition and format it with the Windows NTFS or FAT32 file systems. The Mac drive may have an “EFI System Partition” on it.

QuickBooks for Mac is being discontinued. For those of you using QuickBooks for Mac 2016 (the most recent version), you’ll still be in business until May 31, 2019. After that, you’ll need to make a change. QuickBooks moves online at that point, with Simple Start, Essentials and Plus versions to choose from. So, don’t panic. I was told this week by Intuit/Quickbooks Customer Service that QB 2016 for Mac is the last version they plan for the Mac. It would be supported thru 2019. The Windows version will be available. They are offering 50% off list, if you upgrade to 2016.
Photo by Sharon Vaknin/CNET If you need to expand your storage space with an external hard drive and you use both Mac and PC, you'll likely run into a few obstacles. Hard drives advertised as being compatible with Windows and Mac OS may have misled you into thinking you could actually use one hard drive for both computers.

You read all that you could on the internet about why you should be shooting in RAW only to find out that you can't see your images on your computer when you import them to your hard drive. There is nothing more frustrating than to be following advice and have it not work!! Because RAW images come in a special format of their own, you will need to download what is called a codec (software that tells the computer how to read the data it is given). The codec is only good for allowing you to see the images in preview thumbnails and open them in an image viewer. If you plan on editing your RAW files, you will need software to help you out with that. But first, make sure your computer is up to date with the latest software and codecs needed to work with RAW images. RemoteEdge will use Microsoft's Azure cloud service to stream its virtual Edge to other devices. It will use an HTML5-based client, which means that developers on Mac and Linux PCs won't have to download a client specific to their OS. Microsoft demoed RemoteEdge during the summit by showing how it could even work inside a Chrome browser on Windows 10. RemoteEdge will officially launch later in April. Microsoft also announced that new virtual machine images for Edge are now available to download; one for the current stable version of the browser that was first released in November, and the other for the more recent Insider preview of Edge.
As noted elsewhere, NVidia themselves make OS X drivers for Quadro cards but these are aftermarket cards anyway, not supplied in any Mac build option available directly from Apple. Apple provides core drivers, currently up to OpenGL 4.1 or 3.3 - depending on your card, of course - plus legacy drivers for OGL 2.1 compatibility. In order to run Mac OS X Applications that leverage the CUDA architecture of certain NVIDIA graphics cards, users will need to download and install the 7.5.21 driver for Mac located here. New in Release 346.03.03f02: Graphics driver updated for Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.1 (15B42).
